One of the first snows – kids got bundled up to play – I think this stayed on the ground for about 2 weeks – very chilly, reminding us of more southern places we’ve lived.

Making Christmas memories, cutting strips for our new tree that someone gave us – it is about 7 feet and very cool. The kids have said “I can’t believe we have a big Christmas tree” as we’ve always had one that’s about 4 feet tall, and it goes on the piano where kids get to the presents
